The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(25)H(35)NO(6), contains two independent mol-ecules. In each mol-ecule, the 1,4-dihydro-pyridine ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. The title compound, C(21)H(19)ClN(2)O(5), is a tetra-substituted hydantoin derivative which contains an imidazolidine-2,4-dione core. The dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 64.53 (14)°. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonding is found. An intra-molecular C-H⋯O inter-action also occurs.
